Fougere Royale

New look and design for an archived perfume.

This is a school project where I got to create a fictional rebranding for an old and classic scent from the perfume archive OSMOTHEQUE. I was given the famous and groundbreaking perfume Fougère Royale (”Royal Fern”) by Houbigant from 1882. Its visual identity mainly consists of a distinctive typeface, made by me specifically for this project. The concept is to show the great impact the scent had on perfume history, and about a longing for nature in urban life. 🌿
